3.15 pagi

Kereta ini dinaiki dua orang.

Pemandu kereta , Kavilan Satkunanathan, 27 tahun, dari Batu 7 , Taman Alam Jaya, Batu 7 Jalan Cheras, maut di tempat kejadian.

Manakala rakannya cedera parah dan dihantar ke Pusat perubatan Universiti Malaya untuk rawatan lanjut.

Kereta Perodua Kelisa ini dari arah Jalan Klang Lama dan dipercayai dipandu laju.

Ia merempuh tembok pembahagi antara jalan utama dan lorong motosikal di susur arah ke Petaling Jaya – Kuala Lumpur.

Mangsa dikeluarkan dengan bantuan anggota bomba dan penyelamat.

Mayat dihantar ke HKL untuk bedah siasat.

selalu tgk kat tv kalau kat negara luar depa buh penampan berisi air kat pembahagi jalan tu..rasanya kat negara kita belum ada kot kaedah ni (saya xnmpk lagi setakat ni). Sekurang2nya boleh meengurangkan risiko kematian dengan adanya benda tu. Gambar ke3 tu …. apakah…

Kemalangan sama dengan pegawai tu, sepatutnya ada ‘crash barrier’ yang berisi air tu bagi mungurangkan tenaga hentakan tu, mungkin boleh mengelakan kemalangan maut.
Kes kemalangan bas melangar tembok pembahagi tu jugak ada stabil,konkrit pembahagi tu sepatutnya ada ‘re bar’ didalamnya, sekadar konkrit aje memang tak cukut kuat. Pernah aku tengak pembahagi konkrit tu ada besi didalamnya yang menyambungkan antara satu sama lain. Kaedah ini bagi memperkukuhkan tembok tu terutama jalan belok. Pengendali lebuhraya PLUS tu perlu meningkatkan kualiti pembahagi jalan tu, bukan murah duit tol tu, anda kiralah berapa kenderaan yang lalu dalam satu hari X harga tol bagi Bas,Lori, dan kenderaan biasa.

  Yes, all of us respect the deceased. But we as Malaysians, should respect others too. Dont drink & drive. Is that an opened can of alcohol tin? There will be another issue when somebody drunk hit others.
  
  Sham, ondscene, do update if got witness/proof cause of each accident. So that we all know do-dont while driving.
  
  Just like when accident happen, some (in fact lot of drivers) using PLUS emergency lane. Then blame government not effective, arrive late etc.

I was the best friend and a classmate of Kavilan’s brother ( Kumeran ). His brother met accident and died 10 years ago. I met Kavilan few months back.
